The FFA is currently accepting applicants for the 2016 National FFA Officer Nominating Committee.  Each fall  the committee selects the slate of national officers elected by convention delegates.  The application period will end July 15, 2016 and those interested should apply now

Potential applicants should adhere to the following conditions: 

  • The nine states represented last year CA, DE, IA, KS, LA, SC, TX, VA, WI, are not eligible for nomination this year.
  • Nominations are open to the public.
  • There is no limit on the number of nominations for members or states.
  • State Staff approve or reject all nominations prior to the nominee being made aware of their nomination.
  • Nominators are not aware of the state staff approval or rejection of their nomination.
  • NOMINATION DEADLINE: July 15, 2016

  Once a nominee is approved, they will complete a short application. Applications are due by August 1, 2016.

The 89th National FFA Convention & Expo will return to Indianapolis this fall from October 19-22.
