Annual Remarkable Kids Rodeo

Annual Remarkable Kids Rodeo

June 23, 2016

Each year, the National High School Rodeo Association  teams up with a local group that helps special needs children and lets them participate in their own rodeo. Children from the Empower Me Center in Lebanon, Tennessee took part during the NJHFR,.

The volunteers for this rodeo were some of the contestants from each state being represented, Canada, and Australia.

Michelle Hill, the executive director for the Empower Me Center, has been getting the kids excited for the rodeo all week. She said that this week was “Cowboy Week” at the center and to celebrate, the students made cowboy hats and sheriff badges, and even practiced their lassoing!

The Empower Me Center will also be participating in the Remarkable Kids Rodeo when NHSRA comes back to Lebanon next year.

Watch highlights from the National Jr. High Finals Rodeo in Lebanon, TN on the weekly series, “CINCH NHSRA Rodeo,” Wednesdays at 2 PM ET and Sundays at 12:30 PM ET starting July 31 and running through August 28. Get the full schedule at rfdtv.com.
