Farm Fact Friday

Farm Fact Friday

July 15, 2016

Nashville, TN

Ag PhD hosts an educational event every year in Baltic, South Dakota meant to turn a good farmer into a great one. Brothers Brian and Darren Hefty gather over 10,000 farmers from all across the United States and around the globe for the largest on-farm field day in the country.

The point of the Field Day is for farmers to learn as much as they can in one day about new and current technologies so they can increase their profits and yields on their farm. However, in order to learn about new technologies, you have to know the basics of farming. This is something that the Hefty brothers provide for their viewers every week. So for today's Farm Fact Friday, check out the videos below for five of the Hefty brothers' best tips on "Farm Basics."

You can watch Ag PhD on RFD-TV every Tuesday at 8 p.m. eastern time, OR you can listen every weekday at 3 p.m. ET on RURAL RADIO channel 147 on SiriusXM.
