It's Bull Riding Season!

It's Bull Riding Season!

August 12, 2016

Nashville, TN

Competing in a PRCA Extreme Bulls Division 1 event can be nerve racking, however, Colten Jesse, who is only 19 years old, never received that memo. He dominated Tuesday night's performance at the Lea County Fair and Rodeo in Lovington, New Mexico. Find out how Jesse moved into the top 20 in bull riding world standings on today's Western Sports Roundup.

The Bull Riders Only Summer of 2016 Tour started off their busy month of August with stops in Dodge City, Kansas, and Sidney, Iowa. Follow along as Amy Wilson covers all the results so far.

OLYMPIC UPDATE: The Olympic event called dressage is known as the Equine equivalent of ballroom dancing, and it looks like the USA team is keeping up. This is Allison Brock's second Olympics, and she's put in a lot of work to get her horse, Rosie, to this point. They exhibited an extraordinary performance in Thursday morning's session of the Grand Prix round, landing in seventh place to tie with Great Britain's rider. She left the event with a score of 72.686. Brock is looking to help Team USA win a spot on the podium in Rio after the team's tough break in London. 28-year-old Kasey Perry-Glass landed in the 5th spot in her first Olympic debut. Perry-Glass must continue to deliver four-star performances in the next rounds if she wants a chance at bringing home an individual title.
