2016 FFA Convention & Expo

2016 FFA Convention & Expo

This fall, more than 65,000 FFA members from across the U.S. and representing all 50 states, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands will take over downtown Indianapolis for the 89th annual FFA Convention & Expo.  The event kicks-off Wednesday, October 19 and will take place at several venues in Circle City.  Eight of the nine general sessions will be held at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse.  The expo will be at the Convention Center and will include a variety of workshops, educational and career tours.

This year's theme is Transform -- which embodies the FFA's commitment to service.

"FFA members transform their purpose into action by making their voices heard and by educating others on the importance of agriculture and growing our resources every day," says 2015-16 National FFA President Taylor McNeel.  Currently a student at Southern Arkansas University, McNeel explains the far-reaching impact of the annual convention.  "During the convention and expo, we can learn from one another how we can continue to grow leaders, strengthen agriculture and build our communities."

Each year, RFD-TV brings you gavel-to-gavel action from the convention.  This year's coverage will include fan favorites such as the keynote addresses, motivational speeches, the band and chorus concert and the national agriculture proficiency awards and lots more.  Check out the complete schedule of RFD-TV's FFA Convention & Expo broadcasts and check back here to get additional digital coverage.  No media organization does more to support the FFA and RFD-TV wants you to be part of this incredible annual event.
