RFD-TV will host the exclusive world premiere of “The Mike Lindell Story: An American Dream” on Thursday, December 29th at 10 p.m. EST. The special follows MyPillow founder and CEO in a talk show format that takes an in-depth look into the inventor’s personal life and follows his powerful story from his humble beginnings of working hard on his uncles’ farm to inventing the official pillow of the National Sleep Foundation.
“I am thrilled to be sharing my story of overcoming drug addiction, building a multimillion-dollar business, and never giving up,” said Lindell. “I hope it will inspire others out there to pursue their dreams.”
The documentary was shot in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the Pantages Theatre. Lindell’s production team noted that the special was styled after “The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson.” Special guests who have been involved in Mike’s life joined Lindell on stage to share stories, memories, and anecdotes that have made him successful. It was hosted by journalist Jann Carl and featured Joe Piscopo, RFD-TV’s Patrick Gottsch, Stephen Baldwin, and others.
The “The Mike Lindell Story: An American Dream” will premiere exclusively on RFD-TV, Thursday, December 29, from 10 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. EST (encore January 2nd at 1 p.m. EST). Following the one-hour special Lindell will be discussing the making of the documentary and share some exciting new ventures, including a new book and his foundation’s upcoming charity projects.
