Volunteer for the RFD-TV’s The American Social Squad starting February 14th in Fort Worth, TX for the Semi-Finals and on February 19th at #TheAmerican in Arlington, TX. Volunteers are required to create engaging social content that will include stills, videos, text, stats, and other materials that will be utilized on all RFD-TV brand sites (RFD-TV, RURAL RADIO, and RFD-TV’s The American), as well as team members’ personal social accounts to promote RFD-TV’s The American and related events.
Please review the content below and fill out the questionnaire to apply to the team. Team members will be selected and notified of their status by Tuesday, January 31st, 2017.
REQUIREMENTS:
-Basic knowledge of the sport of rodeo.
-Strong knowledge of grammar rules and writing for social (typos will not be acceptable).
-Professional social media management experience required.
-All team members must abide by and agree to a set minimum number of social posts, social rules, share content with RFD-TV.
-Be willing to share content to their personal social platforms.
-Willingness to use their personal smartphone for the duration of the event.
-All Social Squad team members will be required to participate on a volunteer basis in exchange for tickets (1) and a media pass to all events, plus 2 tickets to The American.
-All team members are required to be available for most dates on the following dates/locations:
Feb. 14th - Slack, Fort Worth, TX at Cowtown Coliseum
Feb. 15th - 17th - Semi-Finals, Fort Worth, TX at Cowtown Coliseum
Feb 19th - RFD-TV’s The American, Arlington, TX at AT&T Stadium
*Note this is not a paid gig and transportation, travel costs and housing are NOT provided. College students that are local to Arlington, TX, Fort Worth, TX and Dallas, TX are preferred.
