Jane Levene has grown her alpaca operation to include two ranches in Colorado. “They are the most incredible animal,” says Levene. “They will do just what you ask them based on the face that you are who you are. I don’t need big burly guys or specialized equipment to help me handle them. I can do pretty much everything I need to by myself.”
