May 16, 2017

NASHVILLE, Tenn (RFD-TV) The Josey Jr World 4-D barrel race took place this past weekend in Marshall, Texas, where one 17 year old became the second youth competitor in history to win both the Champion and Reserve Josey Jr World titles.

Kansas cowgirl Kylar Terlip, who has already qualified for RFD-TV’s THE AMERICAN 2018, was the star of the show at Josey Ranch, along with her four-legged teammates. She and “Guys Voodoo Bug” stopped the clock at 15.905, earning her the Josey Jr World Champion title. Riding “Guys Cashin In,” Terlip crossed the finish line for a second time, stopping the clock at 15.984 to claim the Reserve Josey Jr World Champion title.

Along with the Josey prizes, Terlip took home over $5,700 and a shiny new buckle, sponsored by Bob Berg. Martha Josey and Miss Rodeo America were able to catch up with Terlip and talk to her about the two successful trips around the iconic Josey barrels.
