Today marks the beginning of “National Pollinators Week.”

Honeybees are responsible for pollinating over 110 crops that we eat and use every day. Unfortunately, while more than one-third of all U.S. crop production requires insect pollination, honeybee hives continue to rapidly decline. According to the USDA, bee-pollination commodities account for $20 billion in annual U.S. agricultural production.

Watch RFD-TV all week for stories on the importance of saving these pollinators.
