NASHVILLE, Tenn (RFD-TV) Both Houses of Congress have been talking tax reform for several months. The House has already passed their version of a tax reform bill, and the Senate may be on the verge or passing their own version. Whatever form the final version of the bill may take, it seems likely that it will represent the most significant alterations to the U.S. tax code in the last three decades. In today’s special Rural Money segment, Paul Neiffer, Agriculture Accounting Expert with Clifton Larson Allen, joined us live in studio to give his take on the pros and cons of each version of this bill – with the perspective of rural communities and farmers especially in mind.

Watch the video above to learn more about this important topic. And if you're interested in reading more of Mr. Neiffer's thoughts on accounting, farm taxes, and succession planning, visit farmcpatoday.com.

Paul Neiffer is our regular guest on “Market Day Report." every Thursday – 10 AM ET | 9 AM CT | 8 AM MT | 7 AM PT.

In a recent survey revealed about 94 percent of Americans eat pie for dessert on the Thanksgiving.  Pumpkin topped the list at 31 percent of the vote with apple and pecan each taking 18 percent.  Although 94 percent of people eat it that doesn't mean they love either, 21 percent of Americans said they secretly dislike pie but eat it anyway.
