On the campaign trial in Iowa, former Vice President Joe Biden says the Trump Administration’s ongoing trade war with China is pushing some farmers into bankruptcy and stressing related industries.
However, Biden stopped short of claiming the President’s being too hard on China. Instead he says the U.S. should rally global support to put pressure on the Asian nation. It’s a position echoed by Montana Governor, Steve Bullock, who’s also campaigning for the seat in the White House. He says “Donald Trump has taken this thing of America First and made it America Alone,” adding, “We’ve got to be tough on China, but we can’t do it alone.”
