China Trade Rollercoaster

It’s been a rollercoaster week for U.S. China trade negotiations; one minute President Donald Trump rolls back tariff threats, the next China vows to retaliate.

The flip-flopping doesn’t seem to worry the Commander In Chief who’s keeping a hard stance on trade. Earlier this week, President Trump did make a concession, delaying tariffs on about half of the threatened 300 billion dollars in Chinese goods to Dec.15th. A trade advisor for the American Farm Bureau hopes it will help.

USDA data shows Beijing canceled some shipments last week, including soybeans, but it did purchase some pork amid the ongoing African Swine Fever outbreak.
