Taylor Swift is not going down without a fight after the news that Scooter Braun, a talent agent and music executive with whom Swift has had a stormy relationship, acquired the masters to all of her recordings when he recently purchased Scott Borchetta’s Big Machine Label Group in a deal reportedly worth $300 million.

Asked in an interview conducted by CBS about the possibility of re-recording her older material as a way to regain control, Swift responded that such was “Absolutely” part of her plan.

Reacting to news of the sale earlier in the summer, Swift posted on Tumblr:
“This is my worst case scenario. This is what happens when you sign a deal at fifteen to someone for whom the term ‘loyalty’ is clearly just a contractual concept. And when that man says ‘Music has value’, he means its value is beholden to men who had no part in creating it.”

Taylor Swift’s latest album, Lover, is set for release tomorrow, August 23.
