Hank Williams' grandson makes Grand Ole Opry debut
Sam Williams, 22, is officially following in the footsteps of his grandfather Hank Williams and his father Hank Williams Jr.
The singer is on his own path to make it in country music and Wednesday night he made his first appearance at the Grand Ole Opry, giving a nod to his family ties by wearing his grandfather's hat on stage.
The audience took a liking to the young member of the Williams family as he received a standing ovation after his performance.
"Well deserved, sir," the Grand Ole Opry's official Twitter account said after his performance.
