National Weather Service captures butterflies migrating on radar

The National Weather Service caught a stunning visual on one of its radars last week, a large group of butterflies and dragonflies being carried by wind from a cold front in Central Oklahoma.

The mass migration was caught on Oct. 5.

According to the NWS, The yellow and red colors show the highest concentration of butterflies and dragonflies on the leading edge, with more of them following behind indicated by the green color.
