Ozark Mountain Daredevils member Steve Cash dies at 73

Steve Cash, a member of 1970s southern rock band Ozark Mountain Daredevils, has died at the age of 73.

The bands first album was released in 1973, featuring hit ‘If You Wanna Get to Heaven.’

The band stayed active through the 70s, releasing albums every year from ’73 until ’77. The group featured a unique mix of bluegrass and country rock. Cash was the co-writer of the band’s biggest hit ‘Jackie Blue.’

After his 40-year stint with the band, Cash became a science fiction author.
