Hospitals in Washington, D.C. may no longer have bacon or hot dogs on their menus.
Ag Web reports the Healthy Hospitals Amendment Act Of 2019 bill would eliminate all processed meats, require plant-based options, and reduce the number of sugar-sweetened beverages and soda in vending machines and on menus.
Similar bills have been passed in California and New York.
