Second Installment of China Trade Aid Authorized

A 2nd tranche of trade aid payments should be in the mail soon. Secretary Perdue says they received authorization and thinks it'll be ready by the end of this month or in early December. The first set of payments for 2019's program came in August.

As for a 3rd round that depends on trade talks. Other Trump administration officials share Perdue's optimism. In a Fox News interview Thursday a White House Spokesperson said the United States is "very, very optimistic" about reaching a trade deal with China soon.
