On Sunday, 96-year-old WWII veteran Pete DuPré got a chance to perform the Star Spangled Banner in front of a crowd of tens of thousands at Madison Square Garden prior to the New York Knicks game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Wearing a Knicks jersey with his age on it, Dupré tipped his cap to the crowd as the performance came to a close.

The former Army medic is no stranger to the big stage. Earlier this year, he performed the anthem on his harmonica at a Minnesota Vikings game and US Women's soccer game.
