Just days after eight horses were found dead in the Apache-Sitgraves National Forest in Eastern Arizona, seven more were discovered, 12 News Arizona reports.

Officials with the forest say one of the horses out of the seven found is believed to be a domestic horse. Officials have yet to confirm if the other six were shot to death.

Forest officials are still looking for one more horse that may also be dead.

The investigation is ongoing, and local authorities are asking for help from the public with any information regarding the deaths.
