After a three-year battle with colon cancer, John Andretti died last month. At his funeral procession Thursday evening, he got to take one more lap at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
Andretti, a member of one of the country’s most famous racing families, competed at the track 23 times in Indy Car and Nascar events in his career.
Andretti is survived by his wife Nancy and three children.
