Exmark, the makers of professional mowing equipment have just launched a new season of their Done-In-A-Weekend Projects video series on Backyard Life. The series host, landscape designer, Doug Scott addresses all the steps you need to take to make your dream backyard a reality. And the best part? These are quick hit videos that cut to the chase. So, you can spend less time watching and more time creating and enjoying your backyard life

For example, did you know that those visible “stripes” found on high-end lawns and athletic fields aren’t created by varying lawn mower blade heights or by using different grass types? Actually, those stripes and patterns are caused by light reflecting off blades of grass after they’ve been bent in opposite directions. Learn how to give your lawn that professional look and mow like a pro by watching Brian Latimer’s lawn striping demo video.

About Brian Latimer:
Long before becoming one of professional bass fishing’s brightest stars, Brian Latimer was known for his on-lawn skill and expertise. And, the leading role he played in the growth of his family’s multi-generational landscape contracting and retail businesses. Brian’s love for both outdoor landscapes and fishing were instilled in him at an early age. “I began working in the family business as soon as I was old enough to safely operate a zero-turn. And, I can’t even recall the exact point in my early childhood when I began fishing alongside my dad,” Brian recalls.

Having competed in more than 170 of fishing’s most prestigious pro events, the FLW-turned-B.A.S.S phenom has reeled in two career tournament wins, 10 career Top-10 finishes and nearly $250,000 in winnings since breaking on the scene in 2004. Brian, his wife Rachelle, and their two young sons, Brevyn and Brooks, continue to reside in his hometown of Belton, SC.
