ASA Farmer Stress Survey

The American Soybean Association release an informal survey that looked at farmers and their stress levels amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The survey of 86 participants showed that 82 percent were implementing social distancing protocols and raised personal health practices, like washing hands. The survey also showed 73 percent are worried about the impact COVID-19 will have on their farm and 44 percent say they have already seen the virus affect their farms.

Ryan Findlay, CEO of ASA, had this to say, “It is even more evident that we must all be aware of the importance of checking on our neighbors...in what is an ongoing time of extreme stress in our ag communities.”
