Eight country hits Jimmy Capps played the guitar on

Jimmy Capps is a Country Music Hall of Famer but he spent most of his career behind some of country’s most famous musicians.

Capps spent more than 60 years as the guitarist in the Grand Ole Opry’s house band and also was a regular on Larry’s Country Diner.

He recently died at the age of 81, but here are some of the hits you may not know “The Man in Back” played guitar on.
