University of Nebraska’s new way of looking at water

The University of Nebraska is leading an effort to ensure a safe, adequate water supply for agriculture.

VP for ag and natural resources Mike Bame speaks with RFD-TV’s own John Jenkinson about their new Water, Climate, and Health Program and the areas the program looks at.

“The heart of it is really ground water quality,” he said. “Taking a look at what influences ground water quality from the agricultural production side, to understanding the geology, but also, looking at how that water is used in rural water systems for livestock and, importantly, human health.”
