“Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner 300": Beef Checkoff teams up with NASCAR

The Beef Checkoff is teaming up with NASCAR to sponsor a race, one day before the iconic Daytona 500. It is an effort to promote the nutritional benefits of beef in one of the nation’s premier sporting events.

Clay Burtrum, the NCBA Federation’s Vice Chair, speaks with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison on how this came together, why now, and his hopes for the event.

“It’s an exciting opportunity to showcase the ‘Beef. It’s what’s for Dinner’ brand on broadcast television... The ‘Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner 300,’ we’re going to see it broadcast live from Dayton International Speedway... This is really an iconic event,” Burtrum states.
