RFA on Delaware biofuel waiver rumors

Concerns rise in the ethanol industry following rumors of a potential biofuel waiver. Recent reports say that the Biden administration is considering granting a Delaware oil refinery relief from current law.

President and CEO of the Renewable Fuels Association, Geoff Cooper speaks with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on what he is hearing, how this would impact the industry, and where we go from here.

“These rumors are quite concerning, something we are keeping a very close eye on... we haven’t received any official confirmation from the White House that this is indeed something that they are going to do, but the rumor has been enough to spook the market these last couple of days,” Cooper explains.
