Alabama farmer sues John Deere over right to repair; aiming for class action suit

A farmer in Alabama is suing John Deere over “right to repair” rules.

He says that a recent adjustment required a John Deere technician and the “three-minute process” cost more than $600 dollars.

This is the latest of several farmer-led lawsuits and lawyers are asking for class-action status. The complaint claims John Deere has created a monopoly and is in violation of the Anti-Trust Act.
