Farmers testified yesterday in a House Ag hearing focused on sustainability. Dairy producers were among the groups represented, highlighting the industry’s environmental strides. National Milk Producers Federation’s Alan Bjerga spoke with RFD-TV’s Janet Adkison on the hearing’s main message from the dairy sector, an update on the Net Zero Initiative, if there were any challenges in the process, some priorities for the year ahead, and USDA’s provision that maintains schools’ ability to serve low-fat flavored milk.
