Agriculture groups are calling on the Administration to work with the Canadian government to avert a major railway labor strike. Last week, roughly 3,000 Canadian Railway workers voted in favor of going on strike, which would further threaten farmers’ access to ag inputs.
The Fertilizer Institute’s Kathy Mathers spoke with RFD-TV’s Suzanne Alexander on the current state of the potential strike, what implications it would have for fertilizer shipments, what efforts have been made to ease the situation to avoid the strike and what they’re calling for moving forward.
