Iowa’s latest HPAI case leads to culling 5 million chickens

High path avian influenza at an Iowa egg-laying farm will result in more than 5 million birds being culled.

A previous case in the state was on a farm with about 50,000 turkeys.

This means nearly 13 million chickens and turkeys in eight states have been culled or will be soon.
