Bald Eagle Found Dead in Canada Tested Positive for HPAI

A bald eagle found dead in Canada has tested positive for high pathogenic avian flu.

The discovery, in British Columbia, was confirmed by the World Organization for Animal Health. It’s the first case in seven years for the North American Pacific Flyway. In the U.S., high path avian flu has been confirmed in 16 states.
