The poultry industry could face a lengthy recovery following HPAI outbreak

High path avian influenza is already causing disruptions to the domestic poultry chain, and experts say that the sector could face a lengthy recovery as outbreaks continue.

It comes as the industry is already facing a number of other hurdles, including compliance with state legislation for cage-free eggs.
