NM rancher offers insight into current conditions as Calf Canyon Fire rages

An update on the country’s largest wildfire.

The Calf Canyon Fire in New Mexico has now reached nearly 148,000 acres. Thousands of people are evacuating their homes with it only 20 percent contained, and strong winds continue fueling the flames. Producers are working to protect their operations.

County ag agent and seventh-generation rancher, Donald Martinez spoke with RFD-TV’s own on current conditions and what help is available.
