The Conservation Reserve Program should be more of a working lands program, according to Sen. Thune

The Conservation Reserve Program was created nearly 40 years ago, and has undergone many changes since then. Senator John Thune told farm broadcasters it has switched from being a supply management program, and he wants to see it become more of a working lands program.
