Ag groups do not agree with EPA’s report on Neonics

Leading ag groups do not agree with the latest EPA report on Neonics.

The EPA found three commonly-used insecticides are likely to have a negative impact on endangered species. Federal wildlife agencies will now have to develop mitigation recommendations.

The American Farm Bureau and the American Soybean Association, along with many other groups, say these evaluations do not reflect the way the chemicals are actually used, and will negatively impact farmers if regulated this way.
