Spanish Bean Soup
- 2 lbs. smoked sausage
- 3 cans Garbanzo Beans (Chick Peas) with liquid
- 4 lg. potatoes cut in bite-sized pieces
- 1 lg. onion
- 1 pkg. of Vigo flavoring spice or saffarin spice
- Salt and pepper to taste
In large dutch oven, cut sausage into bite-sized pieces and add all ingredients. Add water if necessary to increase liquid broth. Cook until potatoes and onion are done. Broth will be a pretty "yellow" color. Great served with garlic bread.
