Texas ranch offers equine therapy to veterans with PTSD

RFD-TV’s Suzanne Alexander spoke with Veteran Ranch Vice President J.R. Smith about how he came up with the idea for the program, how it helps veterans, and the success he’s seen.

The Veterans Ranch uses equine therapy to assist those with PTSD. Founded in 2017, the ranch is currently relocating its headquarters to North Texas where it will be able to serve 10,000 veterans and their families each year.
