Significant rainfall over the last several months has helped boost inland water levels including the mighty Mississippi, but some areas are still in danger of reaching low-level status.
Right now, the Mississippi River at Memphis, Tennessee is okay, but gauges show it could be in danger later this month.
In St. Louis, levels were good the last couple of months but keep returning to below-zero gauge as surrounding areas did not see as much rain recently.
Experts say the Ohio River at Cairo is looking good despite being one of the trouble spots shippers encountered last year.
