You may be making your Thanksgiving dinner grocery lists, or maybe you have braved the stores early to beat the rush. Either way, you may find some of your Thanksgiving staples to be a bit more pricey this year.
Friend of the show and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension economist David Anderson says 12-ounce bags of cranberries are up 33 cents this year compared to last. Sweet potatoes are up 11 cents a pound, and yellow onions are 30 cents per pound.
However, holiday bakers will experience some of the biggest price jumps! A dozen eggs will cost $1.30 more this year, while a gallon of milk will cost just 11 cents more.
