NASHVILLE, Tenn (RFD-TV) Born in the Bluegrass State, Always Dreaming met his destiny this afternoon in front of a crowd of over 100,000 people at Churchill Downs.
The bay colt was trained by Todd Pletcher, and jockeyed by 2011 Kentucky Derby winner John Velazquez.
