CNFR Updates and Highlights

June 13, 2017

The 2017 edition of the Ashley Richards Memorial, presented by Dakota Dunes Casino, wrapped up during a Sunday matinee performance at Prairieland Park. Gary Gorst, Casey Knight and Quaid Tournier were all top competitors. It was a truly remarkable performance for Gorst, who won first place on three of the four days that made up the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan show. Gorst’s four-day aggregate time was a huge 3.07 seconds faster than “The Hound” Codey Mccurra who finished in the runner-up position.

The WPCA Professional Tour now moves onto the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede, June 15th through the 18th.

The College National Finals Rodeo showcases the best of the best in college rodeo and is the event at which the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association crowns its champions. The second round of the CNFR finished today, with round three starting tonight, and then the short round will be on Saturday, June 17th.
