After reports of 113 crashes causing 13 injuries, General Motors has recalled 3.8 million vehicles in the United States and Canada because of brake issues.
Large pickup trucks and SUVs are the main models impacted as the recall covers Chevy Silverado and GMCS Sierra 1500, 2500 and 3500 pickups made between 2014-2018.
Recently made Cadillac Escalades, GMC Yukons, Chevy Suburbans and Chevy Tahoes are also covered.
GM says Dealers will recalibrate the electronic brake control module at no cost to customers and owners were notified last week.
A spokesperson for GM said signs of the problem are when drivers can feel a vibration in the brake pedal or a change in pressure required to push the brake pedal if their trucks.
