What does the future hold for “ag gag” laws

Iowa’s second attempt to criminalize unauthorized surveillance inside ag facilities has been ruled unconstitutional by a federal judge.

Several states have enacted “ag gag” laws over the years, and they have been challenged in the courts on the grounds of free speech.

Roger McEowen with the Washburn School of Law spoke with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison on these laws’ objectives, come of the challenges facing them, and what to expect moving forward.
