After U.S. China trade tensions fuel reports of a possible recession a top White House trade adviser says the economy is stable, thanks to President Donald Trump.

Peter Navarro, Director, White House Office of Trade, says the President doesn’t control every economic factor. The U.S. Congress and other global governments like the U.K., Germany, and China play an essential role in a profitable economy.
