Federal Maritime Commissioner on port congestion: “We will have to struggle with this for a while”

We have been hearing first hand the ripple effects shipping port issues have been having on farmers. Fortunately, relief may now be on the way with the Port of LA moving to 24/7 operations in an effort to alleviate congestion.

Federal Maritime Commissioner Carl Bentzel spoke with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison on the efforts to help ease the situation, how long till things are back to normal, and what to expect moving forward.
