Mike White’s Annual Pasture Roping and Benefit

April 20, 2017

NASHVILLE, Tenn (RFD-TV Mike White was a fan favorite during the 12 seasons he competed with Professional Bull Riders (PBR). After he retired from professional bull riding, he founded Mike White’s annual Pasture Roping and Benefit.

Held in De Kalb, Texas, 2017 marks the eighth consecutive year that this unique event hands out big checks to top competitors.

The #12 pasture roping paid eight places and was won by Peyton Walters and Cash Davis. They split $15,600.

Second place went to Cody Hogan and Britt Smith. They split nearly $10,000. Brady Melton and Dustin Morgan took third place and over $7,200.

A few minutes before the books closed for the open pasture roping, Jake Orman asked Mike White if he wanted to rope. Find out what happened when the retired PBR star swung his leg over a roping horse, plus highlights and results – all in the video above!
