Cody Heffernan Captures First PBR Win in Wichita

NASHVILLE, Tenn (RFD-TV) Professional Bull Riders (PBR) Real Time Pain Relief Velocity Tour made a stop in Wichita, Kansas at the Intrust Bank Arena.  

Cody Heffernan won his first event of the season at the Wichita Classic. The Australian cowboy took the buckle after scoring 85 points aboard “Street Outlaw”  in Round 1, followed by an 87.5 point ride on “Hard Candy” in the Championship Round. Heffernan earned 80 points toward the World Standings and over $6,800.  

Next week the PBR Built Ford Tough Series will head to Las Vegas for the Last Cowboy Standing at Helldorado Days.  

Also this week, six athletes from PBR were on IMG Academy's campus training with IMG's performance team and decided to challenge student-athletes to some friendly competitions.
