Ranchers are expressing frustration over a California judge’s ruling that will keep them out of a lawsuit over gray wolves.
Environmental groups are suing the Fish and Wildlife Service to get the animal back on the endangered list. Last week, the judge said that activists, hunters, and the federal government can intervene in the suit.
However, ranchers, who lose hundreds of thousands of dollars in livestock a year to gray wolves, were kept off the list.
The judge said that the NRA and Safari Club could testify on behalf of ranchers.
